Apparently this is a poor year for haddock and cod, which is what we signed up for when we booked. We were recommended to not do this upon arriving due to a combination of choppy seas and poor recent success.

I’m so glad that I found Captain Larry, we had a great day and caught so many fish that my arms hurt from all the reeling I did. I highly recommend this Captain!

I think June may be a better time to be in Kittery. Less traffic and crowds etc. In addition the fishing might be better too

I recommend bringing Dramamine if it’s your first time deep sea fishing, and I recommend booking your charter with Captain Larry the process is smooth and he knows what places to take you to to catch fish so no worries about not catching fish
